§ 2-108. Nomination of candidates.

  • Any person qualified according to the charter of the city and the laws of the state, and desiring to run for the office of city commissioner, shall notify the election superintendent within the time prescribed herein, by written affidavit in the form prescribed by O.C.G.A. § 21-3-91(c), and the manner in which his or her name is to appear on the ballot. Such person shall pay the three (3) percent qualifying fee required by O.C.G.A. § 21-3-90(a), or file a pauper's affidavit in lieu thereof as required by O.C.G.A. § 21-3-90(b).
