§ 3-21. Definitions.

  • As used in this article, the following terms shall have the respective meanings ascribed to them:

    Club means any religious, charitable or fraternal organization holding a current national charter and shall not include locally chartered corporations or local organizations operating under a registered or unregistered name.

    Restaurant means an establishment holding a current restaurant license in the city, maintained, advertised and held out to the public as a place where meals are actually and regularly served, being provided with an adequate and sanitary kitchen conforming to this Code, with dining room equipment and personnel to serve complete meals, and which serves at least one (1) complete meal per day at least six (6) days per week (with the exception of holidays, vacations and periods of redecorating), food service being the principal business conducted with the sale of wine and malt beverages being only incidental thereto.
