§ 3-144. Retention of records.

  • (a)

    Each licensee shall keep and preserve records of all alcohol and alcoholic beverages purchased and all liquor by the drink sold by the licensee and shall keep and preserve records of all food and non-alcoholic beverages purchased and sold by them. Such records shall at all times during normal business hours be open for inspection by an authorized agent of the city. Such records shall be maintained for a period of at least three (3) years.

    (b)

    All liquor by the drink licensees shall file with the city clerk the following reports by 5:00 p.m. on the 20th day of each month:

    (1)

    An on-premises consumption report of liquor by the drink.

    (2)

    Certified copies of the licensee's state sales tax reports as filed with the state department of revenue.

    (3)

    Any other documents, reports, records, or books as shall be required by the city commission to confirm the accuracy of the reported information.
