§ 4-41. Definitions.

  • As used in this article, the following terms shall have the respective meanings ascribed to them:

    Cat means any member of the feline family three (3) months or more of age.

    Dog means any member of the canine family, three (3) months or more of age, and also any pet fox, raccoon and other animal subject to rabies infection or transmission.

    Inoculation against rabies means the injection subcutaneously or otherwise of antirabies vaccine approved by the state department of health, and administered by a licensed veterinarian.
