§ 19-57. Application of article.

(a)

It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the business of operating vehicles for hire, other than taxicabs on the streets of the city until he has complied with the provisions of this article.

(b)

Operation of taxicabs shall be separately regulated by provisions of article II of this chapter.
