§ 2-48. Titles of department heads.

The police department shall be under the direction and control of the police chief. The fire department shall be under the direction and control of the fire chief. All other city departments shall be under the direction and control of a director. The job title of each director shall be: Director, public works department; director, sanitation department; etc. Each director is under the supervision and control of the city manager.
