§ 2-242. Contraband items.

Contraband items which have no foreseeable evidentiary value will be disposed of by the police department in such a manner that will insure that the items are no longer of value and cannot be recovered by anyone, or the items will be turned over to the proper county, state or federal agency for disposition. A record will be maintained of the items which have been destroyed.
